Mastermind™
Mastermind - an important reason to belong to Minnesota NAWBO.
One of the biggest issues all women business owners face is that it is really lonely at the top! As a result, the Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners created the Mastermind program for members.
How Mastermind Works:
Once a month the various forum groups of 8 to 10 NAWBO members meet at a regularly scheduled time and place. Topics of concern are presented to the forum group to help in problem solving. Common issues discussed include employment issues, strategies for financing growth, succession planning, marketing strategies.
The Purpose of Mastermind:
The goal is for the person or persons who presented issues to have some practical guidance on their issues once they leave the meeting. Mastermind becomes an ad hoc advisory board for you – and it is all included in your NAWBO membership!
Informational Sessions about Mastermind:
To better ensure success within the groups, NAWBO hosts periodic informational sessions. These sessions introduce the concept of Mastermind as well as provide guidelines on what group makes sense for you.
My Mastermind group has helped me to focus on business success. In fact, we invested in changing to a facilitated group this year! Our group looks forward to even better results in our individual businesses. For me, having a mini-Board of Directors has helped me to improve the way I deal with my employees, services I offer my clients, the look of my web site, and much, much more! I highly recommend the facilitated Mastermind to anyone who wants to improve their businesses!
