Our panel of experts will share their knowledge to help demystify and provide solid examples of how technology can help small business compete, succeed, and often times leapfrog over their competition because of the advantages optimized technology provides.

Director of Strategy and Clockwork Active Media Systems
Emily is the Director of Strategy and User Experience at Clockwork, a Minneapolis interactive agency. Emily has 20 years of experience in all sides of marketing and communications. Her experience ranges from owning her own business as a strategist and communications consultant to corporations and their agency partners, to leading client-program planning as an agency strategist and account director.
Emily's love for digital media in all forms began when she self-taught herself HTML in the early 90's in order to demystify the duties of her employer's web manager. Since then, she has wrangled big cross-functional client teams to plan everything from small content microsites to global extranets. She has a personal fascination with technology and media and loves that the pace of innovation means she can have a "wow' moment almost every week.

Colleen recently joined Best Buy as their Chief Information Officer. Colleen is responsible for overseeing and transforming their technology platforms, including store systems, point of sale, ecommerce, call center systems, order and inventory management, distribution, supply chain, logistics, financial systems, and HR.
Colleen has established a strong track record of solving complex business, organizational and technological challenges, reducing operating costs, and implementing solutions that deliver sustained business growth. She joins Best Buy after 11 years at Williams-Sonoma, where she was instrumental in establishing that company's IT systems as a real, competitive advantage and point of differentiation for the business. She was responsible for in-house website development for six brands, implemented inventory and customer marketing databases, played a key role in the research and development that led to mobile devices in stores, introduced private label credit cards for PotteryBarn, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma brands.
Social Media and Global COE, Best Buy
As Enterprise Customer Care's social media strategist and Global Center of Excellence lead, Gina provides strategic direction for Best Buy and its family of brands in the online space. Gina leads a team of employees who are responsible for the day to day operations of customer-facing online communities across a variety of the Best Buy brands. Since the team is responsible for moderating nearly all of Best Buy's online customer-facing engagements, it endeavors to usher a consistent brand voice through all of these communities.
For leading Best Buy into the new online realm, Gina and her team were honored with receiving the company's highest honor: The Chairman's Award. Gina has worked with online communication for over a decade and holds two graduate degrees, one in psychology and the other in IT.

Nancy supports clients and teams by fostering a collaborative, idea-driven culture that nurtures creativity and brainpower.
Nancy is President/CEO of Clockwork Active Media, a leading digital agency specializing in designing and developing business solutions for web, mobile and other digital environments. She speaks nationally about work culture, social media, technology, and leadership. She's been recognized for her role as owner and CEO of Clockwork by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and gives back to the community by serving on the Board of Directors at The Family Equality Council.
